Contest: The SodaStream Taste Test Spectacular featuring CNBC

| Tuesday, May 31st, 2011 |

Nothing gets us more excited here at Ms. Fizz than a soda showdown at the OK Corral!

Last Tuesday, CNBC stock gurus Jim Cramer (of Mad Money fame) and stock analyst Herb Greenberg went toe to toe in a blind taste test between SodaStream and Coca-Cola products. You see, while Cramer is a huge fan of the product, Greenberg had his doubts on how well SodaStream would compare to name brand soda.

The two decided to put their tastebuds where their mouth is and took a blindfolded taste test.  They compared both SodaStream’s Cola to regular Coca-Cola and Seagram’s Ginger Ale to SodaStream’s. Herb and Jim picked SodaStream hands down, both times! (And for the record, the name brand versions were taken straight from the studio’s vending machine.)

You can see the action all unfold here! Bottom line: little guy takes on Coca-Cola and wins! SodaStream turns out to be better for the planet AND better tasting!

So we want to know fizz fans, have you ever done a taste test at home for friends and family that are skeptical of the machine? How did it go over?

And in light of all the taste excitement this past week, we’ve got a very special contest going on to celebrate our triumph! If you help us spread the word about the CNBC taste test by simply retweeting our tweet about it, you could win a SodaStream machine! Winner will get picked tonight 6pm EST, so hurry!
