Orange Flavored Ginger Ale

My family and I have been having so much fun experimenting with our new Soda Stream.  We have tried dozens of different concoctions but one of our favorites is what we call Orange Flavored Ginger Ale. It is sparkly and perfect according to my boys.

My boys love hopping on the counter and helping measure out the soda.  Their favorite part has to be watching the bubbles and hearing the funny noise the Soda Stream makes when the soda is ready.

Here’s a look at our family’s favorite drink.

Here is our Ginger Ale and Orange Flavor used to flavor water

Orange Flavored Ginger Ale

1 capful of Ginger Ale

1 teaspoon Orange Flavoring (my water)

Fill  your SodaStream bottle with water up to the line.  Attach bottle to Soda Steam and pull lever to fizz your water. Add a capful of Ginger Ale and a teaspoon of Orange Flavor.  Serve and enjoy!!

Here is our finished soda.  I love that it takes just minutes to prepare.  It’s so convenient to have in our kitchen!  We use it all the time.

We have used SodaStream products for about 4 months and really enjoy making it at home and not lugging store pop home. However, being a lawman and eternally vigilant I have been counting the number of bottles we can get with our carb tanks. We were promised 60 and are getting about 50 per tank. Have we been bilked? The Bed, Bath and Beyond retailer that provides us the bottles claims that SStream refills them.

    Hi Doug,

So the 14.5oz SodaStream carbonator will make up to 60L of soda on average, but it depends on a number of factors including how fizzy you make your drinks! Super carbonated drinks will use up more of your tank! The 60L average is based on the average amount of fizz added to a SodaStream beverage, if you prefer you drink fizzier it may affect the longevity of your CO2 tank. Your results can also be influenced by the temperature of your water – try using very cold water for better results!

    Thanks,
