Soda Swap WinnersMs. Fizz | Thursday, January 9th, 2014 |
Over the holidays, a bunch of you fizzers received some gifts that were, let’s just say, not quite what you were wishing for. So we hosted a Soda Swap, asking you to show us those unwanted gifts for the chance to win what you were really hoping to unwrap: a SodaStream Source, of course!
And now, ladies and gents, it’s my great pleasure to announce our winners and show off some truly, er, not-so-fizzy presents…
@itsbecslife received an (empty!) M&&Ms dispenser. A SodaStream Source might be a sweeter gift, right?
@thedogrose doesn’t watch Duck Dynasty, but we bet he’d be a fan of watching his brand new Source machine make some bubbles.
@trackster994 got an iPhone 4 case for her iPhone 5. We think the SodaStream Source would be a better fit.
Kathie could use a drink. Let’s give her a SodaStream Source for a fizzier happy hour.
Grandma gave Ariel Poo-Pourri. We think Ariel might prefer a SodaStream “sitting pretty” on her counter.
Sarah is really more of a dog person, so she has no need for this kitty litter genie. We’re thinking a SodaStream Source might be the purrrrrrrrfect replacement gift.
Brenda does not think that Big Mouth Billy is very sensational. So let’s give her a SodaStream Source, the “Sparkling Sensation.”
@GeekDad248 got an Obama Chia Pet, but since he’s not really into politics, we vote that he get a SodaStream instead.
Jared finds these 2 Way Hair Dry Gloves a little ridiculous. 2 true, Jared. Guess what’s not so ridiculous? Swapping them for a SodaStream.
Rebecca likes these bright hues, but has no idea what to do with iPod socks. Maybe she’ll have more fun making colorful soda with her Source machine.
Kerri points out that her motion-activated snowman is not a SodaStream. We agree. “Ho, ho, ho, who’s gotta go?” That gift.
“Eegads!” is right, Meg. Let’s trade in those bowling balls for bubbles.
Karin thinks a SodaStream Source might have been easier to wrap. Quite right. (Also, more useful around the house.)
Ch-ch-ch-CHIA! Amber wanted one of these when she was 12, not 25. Perhaps a Source would be a more sophisticated, age-appropriate gift.
Darlene got a Tuna Squish. It’s certainly a clever gadget, but we think a SodaStream might be a better addition to her kitchen.
